Burlington, MA - Silverlink Communications, the leader in personalized voice solutions for client communication, today announced that MIM Corporation's BioScrip specialty pharmaceutical and clinical management division and its ScripSolutions pharmacy benefit management and traditional mail service businesses have implemented SAVS™ (Silverlink Automated Voice Services) to support its fulfillment, compliance and other customer outreach programs. MIM Corporation is a $600 million pharmaceutical healthcare organization that handles logistics and pharmacy management services for managed care organizations and provides drug use evaluation and disease management services. In August 2004 MIM announced a merger with Chronimed, Inc., which would create one of the largest specialty pharmacies in the country.
Chris Iversen, Vice President of Operations for ScripSolutions, commented, "We're extremely satisfied with the SAVS service from Silverlink. We are using SAVS to improve patient compliance and customer service through strategic outreach programs. Our response rates and member acceptance are showing that we are able to significantly impact those critical business areas."
Silverlink Automated Voice Services is designed for healthcare enterprises charged with managing member populations. SAVS is ideal for pharmacy management applications such as compliance monitoring, recruitment support and increasing clinical staff efficiency. SAVS uses an application service provider (ASP) model to offer a suite of call program templates that customers set up and run directly from their desktop. Instead of relying on costly and lengthy software design and testing cycles, Silverlink customers use its patent-pending technology to create, modify and execute feature-rich automated call programs - without taxing their IT organizations. With its unique Management Dashboard feature, SAVS offers immediate call program data collection and the ability to modify the call program based on initial results to improve customer response.
Stan Nowak, CEO of Silverlink Communications, said, "BioScrip and ScripSolutions are important and innovative companies in the area of pharmacy management and patient compliance. We're privileged to work with them on personalized outbound calling services that help them serve their clients in new and exciting ways."
