BOSTON, MA - Silverlink Communications, the leading provider of voice applications for the healthcare industry, announced that it has named Thomas M. McNamara as senior vice president of sales. With twenty years' experience in sales, marketing and management of software companies, McNamara's roles have included vice president of sales and marketing as well as founder, president and CEO of healthcare information technology and consulting services companies. He was senior vice president of sales for HPR, Inc., one of the most successful start-ups in the healthcare IT market.
Prior to joining Silverlink, McNamara served as principal, Sales Acceleration, LLC, where he co-founded the company to provide management consulting and contract sales force services to early stage technology companies. Before that he was president and COO of W3 Health, a healthcare information technology company. McNamara also served as president of Coventry Partners, which provided consulting services for healthcare information technology start-ups. At HPR, Inc., he served as senior president of marketing for HPR, Inc. as well as senior vice president of sales. He was also vice president of sales for Lawson Software and director of sales for Pansophic Systems, Inc.
McNamara holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
