Silverlink's research is designed to measure attitudes, perceptions and opinions around important topics in healthcare. The research informs our messaging and highlights the differences between consumer attitudes and behaviors — what people say they will do versus what people actually do.
This survey was designed to assess consumers perceptions of personal accountability in healthcare. Research revealed that most Americans are willing to change their health behaviors to save money and also believe their health is within their control.

Silverlink's H1N1 survey revealed that most Americans believed H1N1 was a serious health hazard, yet less than one-third (31%) of Americans planned on getting the H1N1 flu vaccine, citing safety and efficacy of the vaccine as primary barriers.

The Medicare Beneficiaries survey revealed that many seniors were extremely satisfied with their current Medicare coverage and were not planning to switch plans. Out-of-pocket costs were cited as the single most important factor when choosing a health plan.
